Okay, honored - I guess - to be the first one here with a cockatoo for a pet.
Remember Fred from Baretta?
Well, this is Cicero...and yes, he talks. He's already learned how to say "Shelby", though I have no idea where he picked it up from.

Kitties Shelby, Sallen, Roush, and GR 1 viewable on page 3, have a new Cobra to play with.
I didn't see it but, when the adoption agency brought her into the back yard she made one trot around and then ran and leaped into the pool. They were amazed because she did it like she meant to dive in, and she had to go over a two foot fence that keeps small animals (chipmonks) out of the pool. She dog paddled over to the edge before she sank. Placed her back paws on a safety ledge inside the pool, and just hung out for photos. When we lifted her out of the pool she shook herself off and went, Can we do that again ? ! ! !
She is a 4 year old, Brindle colored, female, ex-racer.
The couch photo is her trying to reach the back massager.

Heres my sweetie pie.... PIXIE.
ADOPTION STORY: I rode with my sister in law to look at Chihuahuas, and on the way there, she begins to tell me about one of the pups that was in the litter. This one pup was missing a back foot. During the birth, the mother dog chewed it because she was so nervous.
Immediately my heart broke in two, and I said, "Awww, why did you tell me that!!" So, all the way there, I tried to talk myself out of the pup. I said, if it was a male, I would not want it, (cause it would be an inside dog). If it was spotted, I didn't want it... yadda yadda.
Get to the breeder's house, and she pulls the box pups out so we can see them... the cutest one caught my eye... I quickly tell my sister in law, 'Awww, look at that one!" The lady says to my sister in law, 'Well, thats the one I was telling you about, with the missing foot."
I say, "Ummm, male or female" She says, "Female" I say SOLD!
I raised her inside, paper trained her, and really thought eventually I would have to go to Oprah or something to help her be able to walk.... WRONG.
"Pixie" does not even realize her foot is gone. She runs all over the house, and can even get up on the couch (we tease and say that one back foot is her pogo stick).
She will be 2 this December. My kids adore her. They dress her and put her in a stroller and roll her around the house. She has been outside maybe 5 times in her whole life.
Shes not nervous, or mean.... nor is she scary (usual traits in Chis) She is just a happy little dog and everyone that meets her loves her
Here is a pic of Pixie on my daughters bean bag chair. NO her eyes are not PINK (ewwww). If someone has redeye reduction on their picture program and wouldn't mind fixing it for me I would appreciate it
PIXIE -- Full blooded blonde with white Chihuahua 4.1 pounds.

A Golden Doodle is a hybrid cross of a Golden Retriver and a Standard Poodle.
You end up with a dog that does not shed and can look almost like a retriver to one that is sheepdog-Poodle like.
Shelby is too young for us to yet know what her fur will finally look like.
They were created to provide service dogs for people who are allergic to dog hair. By not shedding, there's little reaction to the dog.

Thanks Lalo.
These are really cool dogs that we found out about by accident when visiting a local pet store.
Here are some adult Golden Doodle pics
We think Shelby may look like the one with the pink collar.

This is my pet black widow Bluecious........He was discovered when we did the walkthrough
Notice he is curled up in a ball because I felt compelled to lay loose a bottle of raid upon him. This morning he crawled out to pass on, and I am letting him suffer it out.

Once upon a time, I went to the dairy farm and picked up a baby bull. His name was Winston. I got him when he was 3 days old and hand raised and bottle fed him..
We gave him to a farm when he grew up- he was massive.
