Think my longest paper so far has been 15 pages. I'm sure there will be substantially longer papers/reports in grad school, but those will include lots of charts, graphs, and pictorials.

Longest paper I wrote was 13 pages including graphs and other crap. Professor suggested I submit it to one of the school undergrad journals.

I made a 12 page paper 15 pages... without adding any words.

It's all in the spacing. Increase character spacing by .1 and rather than double spacing do 2.05/2.1 and put the margins at 1.1 top and 1.1 bottom. Done.
