I love the smell of them. I bought some and planted it on the lattice under my bedroom window but they don't smell like the ones you find growing wild. Would love to be able to grow those

 

any of you ever eat them ? .. pull the stems out of the middle and suck on it .. taste as good as they smell ,,

.didn`t have access to so much candy as todays kids .. and we knew where every muskidine vine was

 

All of these are wild and they are so strong. Lot of wild vegetation around here, there's a big clearing in the woods behind the house that blackberries have started take over in the last few years. Probably 5 acres or so of them. I used to have a lot of muscadines and scuppernongs, but you don't see them much anymore.

 

We just planted 2 banana fiscata plants and 2 jasmin plants at home a couple months back. Both of those are real nice too.

 

We also used to have maypop when I was a kid. Haven't seen them in probably 15 years.

That's what we used to call a used tire from the junkyard. "Its got 3 decent Goodyears and a Maypop on it."

 

I miss the wild blackberries and raspberries that grew everywhere in the woods and along the dirt roads in PA. Now I miss PA a little. We bad rhubarb, a cherry tree, apple trees. Good stuff.

The lighthouse in town. Hubs and I were married here. One lighthouse keeper killed himself, two kids died when brakes failed on a cart and they went into the bay, and supposedly 13 pirates buried behind it. Ghost Hunters filmed here twice. Took this creepy photo and thought it was cool.
