The only thing I got rejected for here was "BLOWN6" to go on a Tbird SC...a friend of mine's Girlfriend in MD got "1FYN69" for a '69 Camaro....but that must be because they are so far behind in Technology too....

I should post the drawing Regan did that day at school. It had the buildings on fire and stick figures jumping out. It was very sad. She was 5 at the time.

 

Wow.. I remember everything from that day.. i wasnt in the fire service at the time so that aspect really didnt hit me till later, but two of my really good friends were airline pilots at the time, and alot of thier flights were regional flights in the northeast.. i couldnt get in touch with either for over a day, same with their families, no one heard from them. They were on lock down once they landed, because the company didnt want anyone getting any false info out or anything like that.

Wow....I'd like to see it...... Crazy to think of what goes through a five year old's mind during something such as that. How they perceive it.

I was sitting in my very first month of college in drawing class when the professor came in to tell us and cancelled classes. I listened to everything on the radio on my hour ride home just in disbelief

 

I remember a lot of things from that day. Like the Internet being at a stand still. And a general sense of disbelief.

But one thing that I remember most was a framing contractor that was working for us at the time. I walked on the job and his first words to me were are the banks gonna be open to cash his check that Friday. I'll never forget that. That was his only concern.

 

Wow.... hopefully it just hadn't sunk into his head yet... or he's just kind of a self absorbed *******?

 

That's the part that pushes me over the edge even today.
