This is Panzer Kasern. I'll have to research why they named it that.

And here you go: Panzer (German for Tank) Kaserne (German for Base) was the place where the Germans kept their tanks during World War II. Panzer Kaserne has kept its name from World War II days when it served as a tank base.

Yup! The bag phones worked really good. It was a very long time before handheld phones surpassed the power of the bag phone.

Bag phones were a full 3 watts! Nice compared to these hand helds which I think are something like a half watt!

Yup that's how I remember it. I think it was 3 watts and 1/3 watt.
