Exactly! I hate wasting resources and it really bothers me that I have to throw all of this stuff away. I'm no tree hugger, but I am an outdoors guy and an advocate for our trails, forests, streams, wilderness areas, etc. Heck, the whole family works for and does volunteer work for the USDA Forest Service maintaining trails and working in the National Forests and Wilderness areas to keep them pristine for hikers, backpackers, etc. The county recently put a recycling area near me with big dumpsters for plastic, paper, aluminum, etc. and I use the hell out of it. I separate my plastic and paper stuff and carry it over to be recycled every week or so.

 

I haven't had any problems with them. Right now i'm on 0% for a year. When August rolls around it will either get paid off or rolled over to my Barclay Ring Card which is 8%. The Cap One card will stay zero balance and then they'll start sending me offers again and i'll roll the balance back over to them for the 0% again.



I get the GM offers and Discover offers at least 4 times a month and just got both this week! I've been getting the Discover offers since I bought the 13 Mustang. The GM offers I think started after I got the Jeep.

I know they got my name from those purchases since they come directly to my sisters house. Otherwise I use my PO Box for mail.

 

Same here. I've got a Discover card and I still get offers every week to take some other **** they offer!!

I've got your card (and I use it on the quarters that have the 5% back on **** I use), why in the hell do you need to mail me more ****?!?!? As a matter of fact I'm using the Discover card right now, this quarter is giving 5% cash back on purchases at gas stations.

 

Cap One keeps sending me offers to upgrade one of the cards to their Quicksilver card or whatever they call it. That gives 1.5% cash back on all purchases. I'd consider it, but I don't want to lose my offers I get for 0% on the current one, plus switching to Quicksilver jacks the interest rate up to something like 24%. I use that for balances once in a while so that stops me from upgrading. I use my chase card all the time which is also 24%, but I use that like cash and pay it off. I make money off them!

My Sam's Club card pays 5% cash back on gas all year at any station. The bad part about that is they only pay out once a year with a credit to Sam's Club. And you have to be a member at the time of payout or you lose it. I use that when Chase isn't offering 5% on gas, which I don't think they are doing until July. Uggh.

I don't really know what the interest rate is on an of my cards. I don't carry credit card debt. I use them for everything, but I pay them all off every month. I guess its been 20+ years since I've carried any debt on a credit card. I'm a skinflint when it comes to paying interest, lol.

That is soooo cool. I've always loved sleepers, especially ugly looking cars in ugly colors. I can only imaging what the Hemi Challenger or GT500 owner must think when they see that guy's license plate grow smaller and smaller before their very eyes.
