just look at 99% of the people in Hollywood.. Pretty much all reality tv..

 

One of my co-workers has had some procedures done to her. She's also been divorced three times and leaves a wreck behind her each time! BTW she does look good but I wouldn't touch that mess with a ten foot pole! The price for that ride is crazy! :-)

 

 

How many people are actually like that though? It's like reading negative reviews on amazon. You only hear about them cause they're morons.

Like work, church, associates... how well do you really know them? Most relationships aren't that deep to really know someone. That takes time and effort and years, and two way openness.

 

I think Charlie was just trying to say people you know, But don't know. Like he said acquaintances are seemingly normal on the surface.

Let me put it this way.. every other person you meet in a city is someone you wouldn't want to know if you knew them well enough.

 

Which is why I've always studied everyone. Different cultures, races, social status. I never used to drink in social gatherings but just observe people also. Just something I've always done. I'm not outgoing with strangers until I figure them out. And I'm usually pretty dang accurate with my conclusions. Not surprised by things people do usually. Which is why my circle of friends is a small one also. Women are the worse to figure out since they usually live their entire lives trying not to be themselves. I should have been a psychologist. Lol

 

So what's the alternative? If everybody put on display the ugliness they hid inside?

 

The point simply put... Everyone is ugly and people no longer look within to fix things.. "pretty girls" for instance can be dumb as a rock and get a TV show.. Even when they are truly dead inside and completely lacking in all forms of morals. It used to be people had shame and wanted to fix things. Its like that old MTV show pimp my ride(it just got car related) where they would add dozens of TV's and a huge sounds system with a crazy candy paint just and 20 inch "rimz".. But they would never really do anything to the engine or driveline. What's the point in $50,000 of stuff glued and bolts onto the car if it break down and smokes?

 

I guess the answer to the question you asked Nathan is people should have a little shame in their game and they should work on developing a actual personality. If people spent more time getting to know who they really are instead of staring at a smart phone all day or being catty on facetwitter or dumbbook they might be person enough to actually talk to other persons.

 

Really?? Really??? Now we have to provide public tablets for the generation that is too dumb to use a keyboard??
I hope these were a grant from one of those wealthy tech companies with the plain white buses on the freeway... rather than diverting money from cancer research. Otherwise Stanford Medical has waaay too much money in the budget for non-medical expenditures...
