Thanks y'all! It was a foot chase. The guy was already handcuffed before he decided to run (dummy). We got about 50 feet before his saggy pants fell around his ankles and he face planted. Unfortunately I was just about close enough to grab him when that happened. I tripped over him and caused an earthquake from hitting the ground so hard. I hit elbow out and I think it tried to drive it through the top of my shoulder. Luckily the other guys were close enough to grab the guy before he got up because I wasn't!

Always check your lawn before starting your mower.
You never know what's lurking in the grass.
That little guy is lucky I was picking up dog poop before I started mowing. I never would have seen him if I hadn't been searching the entire lawn for dog bombs. He's all of about 4 inches long.
