Sport+ Question/Help

Hoping to find an answer. When I put my 2022 automatic in SPORT+, and as the car starts to accelerate it feels like there are these skipping/jerking moments as it hits different gears. I don't think it's the tires skipping (or it could be), but almost feels like the car is telling me something. This doesn't happen in normal mode when I accelerate just as fast.Only does this multiple times as I pick up speed in sport+. Thanks for the help

I can't answer for the Mustang but my 2020 R/T in 'sport' mode acts similar. The tranny gets very precise with it's shifting. Jerking is a good description. The engine braking is obvious too when slowing. In regular driving mode, none of this is evident. Not to the same degree anyway. If in doubt, certainly take it to the dealership and ask someone in the garage, not the showroom, Enjoy your ride.
A new Mustang is on my horizon in a few years to replace my '07, as long as they keep making V8 engines.
