Post What Piston Type for 351c, Flat Top or Dished/Domed? Need Help!

hey everyone, I am in need of some expert advice. I am rebuilding my 351C and am currently in the market for some pistons. It had flat tops in it when i took it apart. This engine is going back in my 1971 fastback which will be mostly a street car and and occasional track car.

Any suggestions? Should i stick with flat top or look for a dished/domed piston? would I have any clearance issues if i went with domed?

go back with replacement flat tops as anything with a dish will give a really low compression ratio .. you can get a 4 barrell intake to fit the two barrell heads .. go with a mild cam as the heads will flow ok for 351 cubes .. put on some headers ..and this motor will be a good candidate for some nos ...
