Trans-Am Big Brakes on '71-'73 spindles?

I've been looking at options for improving the front brakes on my Ford, and like the looks of the T/A big-brake upgrade, as outlined in the BOSS 302 Chassis Modification Book ['68 Lincoln calipers, '68 LTD rotors].

I'd like to go with this, as I think it'd be a cheaper alternative to the big-buck upgrade kits that are available from aftermarket companies. The problem is: the T/A upgrade seems to only use '70 DRUM brake spindles, and my car has the later '71-'73 style DISK spindles.

I've searched online, everywhere from eBay to google, but the only thing I've ever found is suited for the early drum spindles; no one seems to make or sell brackets/anchor plates to adapt the Kelsey-Hayes 4-piston calipers to the later DISK spindles. What gives? I thought these later spindles were considered stronger & better anyway? But the majority of what I see for these aftermarket are stock-style, single piston calipers.

Does anybody out there make caliper brackets to adapt Kelsey Hayes 4-piston calipers to the later DISK brake spindles [even with just the regular size rotors]? Or is there just not enough improvement over the single piston calipers to warrant it?

Thanks for the reply. Looks like that w'site is under construction though. I'll give 'em an email and see what they've got.

Looks like Wilwood makes a bracket that's looks like it could fit the bill; it looks almost exactly like what the Aussies used on the big Touring Falcons in the mid-late 70's. But the companies that I've asked "...only sell complete kits," which require--big surprise--spending upwards of $1200 or more for a Wilwood-based brake kit. Oh well, I think I'll shoot some e-mails to a guy I know in Oz, see what he can come up with...
