Tire Size on 1976 Mustang II/Cobra II

Tire Size on 1976 Mustang II/Cobra II

Hello
Does any one know if the 1976 cobra II was set up with different tyer sice in front and back weels, i have to know this to be abel to register my car in norway, to day i have front 195/60 R15 back 235/60 R15.
is there any adds ore simular to confirm this ?

Hello and Welcome.

I pretty sure that all II's had the same rims/tire size for each model year (for each wheel option). But I do not know what size they were off the top of my head . .

i dont think any IIs ever came with tires as big as your rears from the factory. they were probably added on by either the dealer or a previous owner

COBRA II PACKAGE .....................................
Includes outside dual color-keyed mirrors, four styled wheels and trim rings, BR70 RWL tires (195/70R RWL when equipped with 2.8 liter engine and air conditioner, or 302 CID engine), pivoting quarter windows, black out grille with bright periphery moldings, luxury interior door trim panels with brushed metal inserts and Cobra II nameplates, and brushed finish metal instrument cluster and passenger side panel applique. The grille horse medallion and wheellip moldings are deleted. Requires Cobra II modification package and power front disc brakes at extra cost.

has also got confirmd that all mustangs is deliverd with the same tyers in back and front

There is now one exception to the rule. The new 2007 Shelby has P255/45R18 front tires, P285/40ZR18 rear tires.
