2003 Cobra Tire Sizes
I just picked up an 03 Cobra 10th Anniversary convertible and I'm going to have to replace the tires. I'm going to be keeping the stock 17x9 rims that come on the anniversary edition, but I'd like to increase tire size. I've been reading that some people have had success going with 275/40/17 on the front and 315/35/17 on the back. Will 315 actually fit on the stock rim? I have 315s on my SRT8 Cherokee, but the rear rim is 10". Does anyone know for sure if 315s will fit on the 9" rim?

As it is, the Cobra's 275s will hydroplane on wet pavement. I've had a few heart pumping experinces, a couple on the interstate, while I had the Cobra. I don't mean to rain on your party but it is something to keep in mind.
