look for rust at the bottom of the doors and around the glass and underside of the hatch. check the spoiler to make sure its still mounted well. obviously, see how the motor and trans are. and check how the interior lights/gauges etc work.
those rust spots were the only problems my car had when I got it. though significantly mroe have come about as a result of the loose nut behind the wheel
take lots and lots of pics and report back here's hoping she's a good'n

Looks nice, good luck. Ill say if you want to spend $7500.00 then go for it. sitting for a long time = more work, seals & gaskets dry then they leak so make sure you save some money for rebuilding. Have fun.
