What did you do with your Mustang today?

I've been active on that other thread in the 2015 section. Not feeling it at all either. Lost its mustang roots/heritage. Looks good for a new, mainstream, common looking, import car. Looks generic. If you took the mustang badge off, it'd look fine... A decent looking car. The second you throw a pony on the grille, you just threw away 50 years of heritage.
I guess you haven't seen the 2015 sitting beside a 2014. They're not that different. I think it's actually going to end up being a much better car. It's smaller, lighter, more hp and torque, better handling, what's not to like? I never was a fan of the S197 to begin with really.

Everything you stated are correct except one thing. I didn't put on the letter "mustang" to imitate "Shelby". I put it on because I got the inspiration from classic mustangs. Even though I prefer the side of the car to be clean and badge free, I'll probably put the badge V6 or 3.7 or Cyclone on the side of my car in the future so it doesn't confuses people.

You serious?
I won't even comment to that.
As far as technical advancement, sure. No question 2015 is better. But that wasn't point. I can't get to enjoy its technical superiority if I can't get past its looks

Finished off the detailing that I had started yesterday, which I usually don't do, but I wanted the car to be completely cool before starting, as that is the correct way.
Consisted of cleaning inside of the wheels, cleaning the wheels themselves and then putting on some Zaino tire shine.

Sir, with respect, did you just say, the 2015 is "not that different" in the looks department?

Edit: very important edit, I have NOT gotten used to the 2015 looks however. Zoomed in from the side mirror back it looks identical to a camaro to me, but with an ugly front end. So just wanted to say I don't like the 2015's (yet maybe) but I do see his point.

Yeah, I have no intentions of doing that. UNLESS,.....the new Roush is nasty or a killer new SVT car. Have to see what's up with that in the future.
Stop being a trouble maker Burton. lol

Today I ordered the JLT CAI for the Whipple and the 9psi 3.375" pulley.
That gives me everything I really need to get this installed, but I still want to get a couple of gauges, at least a/f ratio, before I get it done.
Yesterday I sent an email to Aeroforce adding if their gauge will display boost and A/F ratio simply by plugging it into the OBD2 port, and today I got a reply saying that that would be the case.
Which makes me want to just get the Aeroforce and a Roush vent pod and be done with the add'l gauges

^ let me clarify, the aero force will spit it out but you have to manually connect a boost vacuum line to the manifold and hook it up to the aeroforce, thereby making it similar to any other gauge. Hence why I got the Defi.

A Man Just Needs Some....
The manual gauge is as real time as you can get. Personally I like the manual boost gauge over an electrical signal. A/F gauge is more gimmick than useful tool. The A/F calculates and corrects so often that whatever that gauge is showing is never really accurate. A good dyno tune with some real analysis will keep your A/F ratio where it needs to be. The ECM will not let you lean out or run too rich to protect the catalyst. Don't get sucked into buying unnecessary products.
