Gary's tonsilectomy story:
Gary was 5. Gary was promised everything would be easy and when I was done I'd have lots of ice cream. Well everything was fine until I woke up from anesthesia too early. I woke up alone on the gurney just outside the surgery room. I woke up to find blood all over my pillow, I mean it was basically a red pillow. Gary passed out upon seeing this as I don't like blood or hospitals. (Geez now I know why)
When I woke up they told me everything was OK they had to redo stitches or something or whatever they use.
Gary was pi$$ed. I had been lied to. So I decided I wasn't going to speak t o anyone ever again. Well hours passed, then days, then, weeks, and finally 3 months later Gary finally gives in and speaks again. I kid you not I didn't talk one syllable for 3 months at age 5. Well when I finally did speak again my speech was all screwed up. I had to take speech therapy in school for the next 3 years before I was considered normal.
OMG I was pi$$ed.

The first part doesn't bother me anymore, but my mom tells the story about how Gary wouldn't talk for 3 months at what seems like every one of my birthdays, etc. I think they think its why I'm so screwed up in the head.

Well my Aunt just called me. Looks like he's not doing as well as I thought :-\
They are transferring him to another hospital, a bigger one where they can run more tests and get more doctors to see him. Theres still a fair amount of blood in his lungs, which explains all the coughing last night. I'll be staying with him again tonight
I'm on my way out to san jose for the time being, but yeah.. won't be back on the forums tonight either
