I've been there. I hit one in my mom's car on the freeway, and the whole way home the wing was flapping over the hood.

 

the neatest thing just happened .. i step out on my front porch to take a leak and a helicopter is hovering nearby with a spotlite beaming all around .. its pitch black and 15 degrees outside .. why would this be happening ?

i dont remember if i related this story before or not but mid summer last year i stepped out in what i thought was complete darkness to take a whizz off my front poarch and heard a womans voice in the distance say " watering your grass are you ? " . it was a neighbor sitting on her front poarch about a hunnert yards away so in response to mustang freaks reply .. yes they can see it from a distance

 

come very close to needing ground penetrating radar for that .. i came close to killing a few ...
