What I've been doing all day
So, I was today at my aunt's place checking her 94 Altima one more time to try and figure out wtf is wrong with it. It developed a spark plug like malfunction this Tuesday, so I said to myself, "this is an easy fix" WRONG! 
I replaced the spark plugs, cap, rotor & wires, the cap & rotor being the same ones it came off the factory! 
The carbon button on the cap was gone, along with the spring. Nothing, still misfiring and knocking. 
Today I checked the Haynes manual, tested the TPS, MAF, fuses, and EGR, everything good, only a minor adjustment to the TPS to get it to spec.
I even took off the valve cover to see if a cam broke or something, everything good. I put back everything together and made one final test, remove spark plug wires w the engine running. 1 & 2 were fine, it almost died when I pulled either one of them, except 3 & 4, BINGO! The thing I feared, blown head gasket.
