I have two rows, the first row is about 10' away and the second row is about 16' away. I sit in either. I can make the room pitch black too. Projector is permanently mounted overhead from the ceiling and is whisper quiet. Much quiter than any I've heard before.

Killer........ If I had the appropriate room, I'd be all over that!

I built the room over the garage when I built the house. I finished the room out early this year. It's such a pain in the *** to walk up there.

It's really not that big a deal. Most people just don't have the room to dedicate to it. I think pricewise a 67" LED TV may be about the same as the projector and the screen. Now the freakin' mount did cost me $1k that was a pisser!

Ironically I'm thinking of upgrading to 120". It's like Mustangs. How much HP is enough? TV's how many inches is enough? Just ask Tom's wife.
