My latest acquisition a '66 Galaxie Ranch Wagon....Wagons are cool, just had to have this one. Amazingly enough it has almost no rust which is a shocker considering it's been sitting for at least 25 years under a pine tree. I had to leave the tree attached to the car...call it an "environmental antenna" . A couple years ago I scrapped a '67 Galaxie but kept the 4 barrel 390 out of it...and since it's taking up space in the shop I needed something to put it in so this is it.

Did the tree grow through the car?

It grew between the bumper and car...so it grew through and around the side of the rear bumper. It was actually lifting the car up, when I cut it the car dropped.

Paul I wish there were a reality show on your shop. I think the stuff you build is better than the ones on TV today

I would leave the tree in it. Maybe just lacquer it some.

I made the mistake of going to get stuff to make margaritas since I had tequila. Had 3 already and amazingly I'm about lit up. Not ****ed up, but I wouldn't dare drive anywhere.

Right now I am going to get an engine in it...need to find a gas tank and a hood. Thinking about bagging it....I want to leave the tree there and not touch the patina.

Probably not enough drama around here for the TV people to be interested...lol

I'm thinking about getting either a 03-04 Kawasaki ZX10R, or a 07-08 Yamaha R1. Be cheap on gas considering I'll be driving 80 miles a day for the new job. I would get a newer bike but the newer models of those two are butt ugly, and I don't like Honda or Suzuki bikes

I don't own a bike but if I did it'd be a Yamaha.

So I prefer the R1

I'm a Suzuki man. GSX-Rs, DRs, RMs, Quadsports, Quadracers, etc. I had a couple of Honda dirt bikes that I liked, and a Kawasaki streetbike that I liked but damned near killed me, but I've always been a Suzuki guy. Grew up on them and around them.
