I think you're getting there! the bigger zero helps. maybe make them all the same height?, put a red square behind the 61?

Chris if your going with the half color block like that, think about extending the black outline around the 61 with no fill an see how tht looks. Give it a bit more complete look

Funny thing is I did do that and erased it before posting that because i thought it looked too close to the 20/20 logo.
