An acquaintance has one with a built motor, big honkin' turbo and a powerglide that will run deep in the 9's all day consistently and cruise on the street mild as a pussycat. Funniest **** you've ever seen on the street, cocky ****ers on sport bikes will swell up and start revving on him and he will put bus lengths on their asses.

My buddies dad has a '10, he's let me drive it a couple of times and it just doesn't impress me like it should for the $$$ he spent on it, it really is fun though. Hugs turns like no other

I loved the GTS's when I was I was growing up. I'd love to have a Viper, but I'm not sure how well I'd fit in one, haha!

Yes "built". Its not like it wouldn't hold together as it was, but it was necessary for something that is drop dead reliable, runs low 9's and sees the strip often, and can be driven comfortably every day. Not many cars out there that you can say that about.

No just Lambo's, Ferrari's, and Aston Martins. You can build them and they can be 9 Second cars but for the money I'd rather dump it into a Mustang or a forgive me, I know it's blasphemy a Chevelle or Nova or Nova II

Do you know what it takes to run low 9's consistently and reliably? Yeah, build a Chevelle, Nova, or even a Mustang that will reliably run low 9's consistently and tell me how streetable it is, he drives this ****er daily with the A/C cranked and can swap it from a built T56 to a powerglide in under 2 hours easily.

Its a bad **** car that does it all. Hauls the mail when needed, gathers looks, and is fun and comfortable to drive. Not an easy task.

And you can do the same in the super cars I mentioned. And if you spent the same money that you spent on those cars and on building them you could do the same in the cars I mentioned and the American cars I mentioned you could do the same and still same and still have $10k to play with

Way to throw a red herring into the discussion. They are beautiful though. But slow as siht in the grand scheme of things for the class they're in.

I'm not saying its not a great car but for the money I'd build my own car and embarrass it and still have money to go play at the casino with or just put it into a savings account

I'll hold my breath waiting on evidence of a Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, etc. that runs low nines. Especially for under $100K total investment.

I watch my buddy with a '99 T/A, (I know this is sacrilegious on this forum) beat Gixxter 1000's in the 1/4, cause he's got a built motor. He only had like $40,000 into his car and he runs 9.5's consistently
