That's the plan. 
I also want a bigger rear end, stronger 5spd, 3" dual exhaust (lol), and anything else I can get some power out of. My goal is 300hp. Which isn't much, but considering the weight of the car, it should be plenty for me.

Probably. 
The n/a 2.3L can't sand up to a turbo. The internals really aren't strong enough. The 2.3t engine is a lot stronger, so I'd rather go that route. Some people have turboed their n/a 2.3s, but it's not really worth it imo.
