I need better tires. I don't trust the car in turns over 50 or so. That's not something that I can recover from comfortably should they let slip and stay out of the ditch.

My drag radials are great as long as its dry. Terrified of my car if the road is wet.

That doesn't seem to upset mine when its cold, its just when you lay into it all hell is subject to break loose unexpectedly in 2nd or even 3rd depending on the pavement you're on. It'll be hooked up, then getting close to the top of 2nd it'll just come unglued and hit the limiter sideways.

Sorry tire size they put on those things. Car really needs more tire. Couldn't imagine what the 2013 will be like.

I want 4.10s.

The R is the opposite. I trust it. Maybe because it's NA and it's setup differently.

But something about the supercharger just makes the car scary if it's not in a straight line. You give it gas in a curve and the rear end will break loose and leave you looking like a fool.

had the Mustang out on the way home from class a few days ago, had just rained a bit. I had some fun sliding it around! There's some wide roads on the way home with little traffic, so I'm not worried if she gets super loose and spins out, but I love that the car is so predictable. I threw her 65* sideways leaving work a couple years ago on the old tires, laughing my *** off the entire time!

Get back to work a couple days later, dude was like "man, I thought you had lost it there, and then I realized you knew what you were doing!"

Yeah, but the **** I'm talking about happens at 50, 60, 70 mph. Without warning.

I've never experienced that. What I mean by that is I can break it free at those speeds but it's never broken free without me full throttling it and never without warning. :freak out:

I did have the car lose traction going over the crest of an intersection at 45mph one time, that wasn't cool! Good thing I'm not one of those eating while texting and driving people or there'd have been some damage. Let off the gas, put in some opposite steering, and problem solved.

Ever driven yours on the SVTPP tires when it was 40 degrees outside, and the pavement even colder?

PSH was fun to drive in the cold, the goodyear eagle F1's gripped fairly well at decent speeds and it had a hell of a suspension setup. But once you got well into boost from the vortech.. yeah same issue you have lee, it just had to be at a much higher rpm due to difference in blowers.

Man I'm breaking loose drag radials on cold roads. Couldn't imagine oem street tires.
