It wouldn't be so bad if Ford didn't use this beige colored primer, any significant chip stands out like a sore thumb.

I'm thinking about a new project. Dunno.
Want to do a 75-82 vette. Full LS swap computerized of course. All modernized. I'm really tempted.

Of all the Vetters, those years should be the cheapest to find the body for. Those were low hp years and the with the exception of maybe the silver anniversary one they are not worth much of anything.

Always liked that body. Saw a couple clean ones at the show last weekend. Didn't see any LS swapped ones. I'm sure they are out there. They swapped those powertrains in everything else though. It's just too easy. Might have to be my next toy. The only vette body I really like. Except 66-68. But it would be wrong to chop one of those up.

I like those years too.

My mother-in-law had a '81 that I ragged the crap out of when they were gone on vacation. I do love the lines.

Those are built like jessica rabbit. Big curves. Sexy bodies for sure. And no body rust is a good thing also.

What happened down the line in history that "suck" and "blow" came to mean the same thing?

Always wondered that myself. Then again, I don't care what they call it as long as she does it.

Accomplished so much today.

Spent an hour replying to a moron "occupier" how to fix the American economy. Need to make break - scratch - brunch, feed horses, get ready for happy hour at the pub.

Cause tonight we're tapping the "Fresh Hoppy Pale Ale"!

Don't forget about the spider cracks all over those fiberglass bodied Vettes. Do it though. I wanna see it. What LS do you put in it. LS3?

LS1,2,3 not enough difference to matter. Heads are almost all the same. Short blocks can be swapped between all of them. Easiest way would probably be a 6.0 truck motor cammed with maybe a little head work. Just would depend what is available at the time. Like I said, shortblocks are all interchangeable. The LS platform engines are all really simple and really built to last. The guys at GM really hit a home run with those motors. At least until they went with the variable displacement.
