You can save the picture to your "Photos" and then reattach it to a new post. Maybe you knew that, if not, PM me and I'll send you details.

Why is that pic taken from the passenger seat?

I must have leaned over the middle and taken it over the dash. Rarely does anybody else drive my car, and I can't even remember the last time someone else has, besides the mechanic.

So I saw a black anniversary vert today at the coast show. I parked behind it to check it out. So there are 2 of the same cars now. I get out and the owner has the exact same Stanghi t-shirt as mine. He lives about 30 miles from me. Never met him or seen the car. What are the odds 150 miles from home. The t-shirt thing made it weird.

That is pretty freaky.

I met a crapload of cars headed down earlier this week when I was on my way back home.

lol totally no traction. I actually kind of liked the Javelin's back in the day. AMC was trying. Oh yeah, and then the world's first 4X SUV.

There's a Gremlin around here that I'm sure hurts a lot of feelings. Don't know who it belongs to, but it only comes out every now and then. Its slick as hell, black with a set of Drag Star bigs and littles on it. It must be a based on an AMC 390 because it has a very different sound from your typical Ford/Chevy/Dodge big blocks and it shakes the ground. He pulled out here at the house one day and when he stood on it, it was as if the gates of hell had been ripped open and all the demons turned loose. It hooked up, pulled the left front wheel off the ground and got some serious gone in a hurry. Much respect from this old gear head.

Maybe he has the secret for the GT500/351 to hook up.

As fast as he got gone, a GT500 ain't got **** on him (at least in a straight line).

As far as hooking up, its all in the suspension. But with a car like the 500, there is a fine line for a manufacturer to walk between hooking up off the line, handling, and ride. They have to find a happy medium, and its up to the consumer to leave it alone if it suits them, or tweak it to fit their specific needs.

A good example of what suspension can do. I know as men, we think "more power!!" but this shows there is more to it....

Joined TMS 4 years ago today. That was about 24,000 posts ago (Labor Day crash).

If this were college I'd now have a Bachelors degree in BS.
