It is awesome. But if you do, don't do it with your future father and mother in laws, 3 future sister in laws and a future brother in law in a standard size fan that won't go over 55mph unless its down hill.

Legal age was 19 for me. If you went over to Wisconsin back then it was 18.

yeah, I ment more like by myself, dad did it several times when he drove a semi, says it's incredible, so I'll do it eventually. also, never try to drive a u-haul truck across the country, dad had one that would shake something terrible over 50mph, even on the unbelieveablely smooth tennessee roads

Yeah I've always been the guy that does something just because someone tells him he can't. Drove my parents crazy and now drives my wife crazy. If you really want me to do something, tell me I can't do it.

Sweet. My brother had it the same way. Here in Texas it was 18 until he turned 21 then it changed to 21 that year. BTW my only record was for M.I.P.'s never a DWI. As drunk as I was, I always found someone to drive or I just walked! lol

Classic. There's more wisdom in an episode of Seinfeld than in all of Washington. I don't know how much NBC paid those writers or where they are now, but I hope they are getting a piece of the syndication, because with the exception of the last episode they were geniuses.

I think of that also. I haven't felt the wrath of the summer sun as of yet though.

I won't lie I like living in Texas. But I always enjoy our family vacations when we travel to other parts of country. So far we've driven to Washington D.C./Williamsburg, Phoenix, L.A./Vegas, and Orlando. I'd love to go to Alaska on a really long drive. Coloroado too. Massachusettes. I love seeing this country. It's amazing seein the little differences.

I liked D.C. although one night we missed a freeway exit and ended up over the river in Maryland in the projects. Took an exit to turn around and the next thing I know I'm on a street with a median that at every turn says no u-turns. The area of town just kept getting worse and worse. I swear I was just waiting to get car jacked. So I finally broke the law, pulled a u-turn and got the f*** out of there.

We stayed in the thick of things just off the mall and I really enjoyed all of it. I guess we were lucky there were no protestors when we were there. My only regret is that when we went the National Archives were closed and I didn't get to see the Constituion and the Declaration of Independence. Someday I'll have to go back just to see, with exception of Bible, the greatest written documents in the history of mankind. IMHO

I've got to see Alaska some day. It seems like Texas but way more beautiful and a lot colder sometimes.
