So what else have you slackers done this morning. Know what I did??? I saved a friggin house from burning up completely. 
first one there, recognized the fire situation, did a brief single attack by myself which knocked out the majority of it and kept the whole incident isolated to the bathroom of a single wide mobile home (old one). Any longer, that baby would have gone up like a newspaper in a blast furnace.

They could have used you here the other week. A house just up the road burned to the ground because of a faulty water well pump wire connection at the outside electrical service on the house. House is a total loss.
I've always lived in the city near a fire station and close to a fire hydrant. This whole living in the country thing kind of makes you think twice.

I finally figured out why Nathan is the way he is. I was reading something about Fargo (the movie) earlier and followed a wiki link, which led to another link, and so on and so on, and ended up at this....

Here you go, Gary. I found a better picture of our old Bronco. And to think I climbed up in and drove this thing through an entire pregnancy. It was quite comical to watch a beached whale getting in and out of it, lol!

The clouds parted about 4 and the moon is rising. Based on where it was early this morning when I fed the herd a little after two, and where it is rising, instead of having to go somewhere, the big show is over my roof!

Intermittent periods of clouds here. Its clear right now, but there looks to be more moving in from the west pretty quickly.
