We had some great news here in our little town today.
Caterpillar announced that it will build a 600,000 sq.ft. factory here to build excavators. This factory will employ 500 full time workers when operational. It will also employ countless hundreds as it is being constructed. They break ground next month and plan to be operational sometime in 2012.
That means somebody's gonna need some new houses.

Lots of pouring rain and lightning here. Had to take my grandma to the pharmacy to pic up a prescription since she can't drive in the dark. We've been having nothing but problems with my grandpa and trying to get him to stop driving.

You have to understand Nathan that he doesn't want to give up his independence. think how you'd feel if you drove for over 50 years then one day you become dependent on someone else? it's not easy regressing and losing your freedom all together, no matter the impediment.
It seems all of your storms are eventually coming our way, we had some massive ones this morning and more on the way.....You sure you don't want to be a meteorologist? your always talking and taking pictures of it

Exactly! Charlie, if you're like me, I never let anyone in my family drive me in one of my vehicles. As long as I am able. the only time I wasn't able to was when I broke my hip in 08. I hate the dependency already, and I am still sane

my god! my wife poked me in my sleep once, she doesn't do it anymore! 
I smacked her in the face. the next day I had no idea what I did, nor was I responsible for my sleeping actions.....said I must have been dreaming of fighting.....

I'm really not sure what to think. I was looking at the U of MN and they offer an earth sciences major, but I'm not sure if that's what I'd be looking for or not. Plus I've never liked science all that much (though I was always did well in it) and these types of majors require a bunch, and I'd probably be a year behind meaning my whole first year of college was a waste.
I really don't know what to do.

That's not good. He could have easily ended up in some seedy part of town and God knows what someone may have done to him.
