Exciting little storm came through. Lots of lightning, pouring rain, wind, and some marble sized hail.

Got an earful of liberalism today. Apparently "the tea party is in for a big surprise" and "all those republicans just look like a bunch of bozos"...

Well they've got half the city named after him.

Nathan, with how bad your day has been, you'll be set for the next year amigo, don't worry!
Just add the link! And also, you gotta hate the little things.
What about cars/trucks with hood struts? In my truck, I can't drop the hood. I've gotta grab it and push it down. If I do it hard enough it'll fully latch, but still, if I just tried to drop it, it would laugh at me and just stay there lol
Remember there's some motivation behind lifting your bronco **
By left, do you mean driver? If you do, I got nothing to say. But if it was the passenger side, I'd suggest going over to the passenger door and trying that switch. Happened once on the truck, driver side switch for the passenger window didn't work, but the switch on the passenger door did.
** Got my brake quote today. As I expected, kind of scary. I need new rotors and pads in the front, and the rear... I need new drums, and new wheel cylinders because I have a leak in one. Total will be about $650 for everything. About 275-300 for the front, 300-350 for the back. The leaky wheel cylinder has got the linings in the drum moist on the passenger side, so it doesn't grip too well, driver side is ok. Nothing can be machined, as it all has been before. So, expensive. My plan of attack is get quotes from the shops around here on monday, and compare to what Pete is charging.
The goods things out of this: After this, I shouldn't have to worry about brakes for a LONG time. And it'll be smooth as butter stopping. And also, I had pete look into the front suspension and why it was making the truck pull. GREAT NEWS! It's not the suspension! My alignment is great still, as it always was. The problem here is that my tire has a broken belt in it. So that tire is on the rear now, so no more pull. When I'm returning the gauges to the junkyard monday, I'mma grab myself another tire.
And after that, I'm thinking transmission flush. I don't want that thing dying, and I found out it was last flushed 5 years ago, 24k miles ago. And then a level kit and straighten my bumper, for the 32s

That's only about $250 worth of parts. You could easily do the job yourself in an afternoon.

A bunch of people are saying that. But I don't have the confidence to do it when I know if anything doesn't work right, I can't just drive off and fix when I have time.

So mad right now. Been having a pretty crappy day, but that's normal most days. Then I go to church, pull up in the parking lot, and the left window won't roll up. The right one went right up, but the **** left one wouldn't budge. No way in hell I'm leaving it parked there so some moron can take whatever they want out of it, so I had to come home. God better have a **** good reason for sending me home. This car has been nothing but a money put this summer. If I could I'd trade it in for a different one I would.

In other news, the dad of my sister's hubby died this past Saturday. His heart decided it was enough. R.I.P. Mr. Raymond Senior.

Sorry to hear about your loss Eduardo.
Went to an all Mustang car show on Saturday and found this little clip on youtube from the exhaust competition. Nice show, lots of gorgeous cars.

I'm on no sleep people. I literally stayed up all night long working on my new home's design. I have a layout and to be honest it's better than perfection. Someday they'll make it a museum like they did with Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water house.
But seriously. I love it. It finally came together in my noodle and over the course of about 12 hours it was put to paper.
Only problem is its too big and too expensive. So I will have to find a way to cut something.
I'm going home to go to sleep. My brain is shutting down. I'm beginning to have delusions of grandeur.
