I thought about asking my brother if they will be down that weekend and take a trip down for the weekend of the 4th, but since I'm leaving for Maui on Friday the 9th, I just don't think I can do it. I'll have too much to do to get ready.

About 150 miles, it's about 2 1/2 - 3 hr trip, depending on traffic.

We plan on going to Cowboys Stadium, Six Flags over Texas, shopping and dining, and what ever else we can find.
They say at Cowboys Stadium you get to tour the locker rooms and actually throw a football on the field.

Did you ever think about driving to Cape May and take the ferry over to Lewes, DE? That would certainly break up the trip some for you. From Lewes, you can be in OC in less than an hour.

I thought about that, but I had checked it out and wasn't worth it. I just checked it out on Mapquest and it is 2 miles less and adds about an hour and 15 minutes to the trip. The ferry ride itself is 90 minutes. Then there is the reservation and getting there on time. Since i'm coming from further north it's just as easy to go around.

I've been enjoying summer. Thursday - was on the island from 3pm-1am chasin girls with my friend, but too many youngins, so it turned into "how many 14 year olds can you scare off in a minute?" needless to say, still fun. Friday I was chillin with ronnie and this girl kayla at a pool, then left there for another pool to chill with molly. I haven't had a shirt on at all except at work for all of my summer so far! I've been in 5 pools and the gulf of mexico over the course of thursday and friday. It's freakin' sweet 
And when I wasn't working, chasing girls, getting number(not plural) or chillin in pools, I had a great idea for the truck! I'm still wondering, but for under $100 I can get the truck on black wheels! Opinions are appreciated, please and thanks! And regardless to whether or not I go black, I'm gonna get a polishing pad and some rubbing compound to take to the polished aluminum stockers
first is stock, second is blacked out, third is black with chrome center cap, 4th is a second angle

We made it.
As usual one of the kids just had to vomit to make the vacation fun.
I don't know if Lauren got car sick or ate too much, but there was a vomit comet in the back of the Expi
Luckily we come prepared for such things.
Otherwise everything is great. Hotel is really nice.
