Thanks, I really think the next thing I want to upgrade is the suspension. Get rid of that 4x4 look. I just don't have anyone around here I know with an S197 that has suspension upgrades, so its hard to figure out what I want/need with no cars to test drive.
I have just been very tempted by the FRPP kit with it's reasonable cost. This spring I really want to do a suspension, 1-piece DS & 3.73 gears.
I wish I knew a good speed shop here in the RI/MA/CT/NH area... I can be in any of the 3 states in no more than 1.5 hours.

It wasn't too bad usually you spend a week out of school and get it done, lose your voice and stuff but it was well worth it.
Call the Mod Shop at Tasca Ford in Cranston RI. One of the most famous and respected names in Mustang racing history. Authorized Shelby mod shop, Roush and Saleen dealer and installer.

Thanks Lee, My father and I have both bought vehicles from them. They do have a very nice shop. But what I did hear is that they charge for their name too. I did trying calling them last spring for a gear install. But they never returned my calls.....I was disappointed and the summer was here, all I wanted to do was drive the car. So I think March 1 I'm going to try to find someone and get it all done early.
I also spent some time looking last night. I found a few other places.
DMC Racing
DEZ Racing
Karl's East Coast Speed
Looks like I have some research to do over the next few months.
It kills me that I have the ability to do all of this work myself yet I just don't have the tools & equipment to get it done. I need a weekend job at one of these speed shops.

I'm beating my head in trying to get my p.o.s. laptop to send the desk top over to an external monitor. The Fn+f5 ain't working. The thing is taken completely apart getting ready to be put in a custom case for my carputer and the original LCD screen is completely shattered so I have no way of telling what I'm actually doing. I guess I'm gonna have to break down and buy a new screen for it just so I'll be able to transfer the desktop over to the lilliput touch screen. I've tried pushing f8 to go into safe mode thinking it might power up the external but that's not working either, also the s-video out ain't working all the tv will do is have a black screen with a few big white streaks across it
