i had pretty much the same opinion on the fusion hybrid as you did nathan, fusion is awesome, but the hybrid sucks, especially because it's pretty unpredictible, not knowing about maintenance and such
I think I've got him narrowed down to a fusion and a jetta TDI. I believe we're going to go look next weekend. I almost want him to get a TDI, just because he drives all the time, and you just can't argue with 45 (nonhybrid) mpg
