My stereo can kill my battery 
Today I was driving to the island, had the radio cranked, stopped at a tackle shop with my friends and bought some bait. Came back out to a truck that wouldn't start when it did in my driveway... I had the jumper cables with me just in case, turns out I needed them.
Bittersweet, but I can now say my stereo IS more powerful than my blinker

Yes the job of the alternator is to charge the battery back up from starting and to also run the electronic in the vehicle. If the electronics are taking more than the output on the alternator it will drain the battery.

My radar detector will kill the battery in my Trailblazer in 2-3 days if I don't drive it. The Mustang battery is out the car for the winter, so I bring it outside and use it do the jump!

And by cranked, I mean the radio was at 45, opposed to my usual "cranked" at 30, and normal listening volume at 20.

Gary loves brown eyed brunettes. I married one I like them so much. I mean they just so do it for me. Blondes are OK, but I made a list of teh 50 hottest women, 99% would be brunettes for me.
Plus I really like sweet women. Great smiles with great teeth are a huge turn on. Smart too.
