7 is running again. I've still got the red top battery in it. I'm testing it now that I've redone the audio install. I have ZERO noise issues. The system is silent until you give it volume. The gain on the amps are turned way down because the if I don't its LOUD!!!!
It sounds great too. And no dimming headlights either. No fuel pump needle jumping with the bass because of current problems. I am sure that the rear view mirror will fall off shortly. I was driving and my garage door opener rattle off the visor above me, fell in my lap, and scared the crap out of me!
I only have the one perfect 10 in the car for now. The best bass results for the drive seat was actually putting the sub in the Shaker 1000 position in the passenger corner of the trunk. I tried it facing rear right behind the back seats and it was noticeably quieter. I tried all the way against the taillights facing forward and it was also noticeably quieter. Anyway. Audio sounds really, really good. It's the best the setup has ever sounded. I might tinker with putting the second perfect 10 in the trunk on the drivers side and see what happens. I'm experimenting to find the best box location. I'll see how two 10's sound.
The Kicker amp pushes that perfect 10 better than either alpine amp ever did. I mean alot better. You can see that thing moving in and out ALOT. I mean it looks like inches with no distortion either.
I'll post pics in a few. I need a drink. It was a long *** day.

It would seem like that, but no. At that show, probably about half the people got one.

Awesome pics man. I was just giving you a hard tme.
Just seen Avatar loooong movie & was good not as sci-fi as one would expect , I got more out of it as to how the hell we really should treat our own planet. I give two thumbs up , as it's all I had lol the graphics were cool can't wait for the blu-ray.
ps 12-13 year old teenyboobers should fare well with it , my guess.

^wires
^more wires
^slightly more organized
^wires are underneath. This is where the amps will mount
^4 channel amp mounted without end caps to hide wires
^4 channel mounted with end caps (below you can see my secondary fuse box where the camera, fuel pump, camera swtich, and x-over get power from)
^both amps mounted with end caps
^case so that you won't see anything but amps from above
The cover piece. This will have a lexan window on it and carpet around it.

I'm thinking my Lexan should have some holes in it for ventilation. Whether it be long groove like holes or just cheese grater type dots.
I can add a fan if I want. I've got power there. Plus I was thinking of adding lights to the underside of the cover around the perimeter of the window. Maybe like a red LED ropelight?

Thanks Dirk.
My carpentry skills were finally used on the car for a change. The cool thing is that platform is perfectly level. And I used 1/2" birch plywood so it is lighter than MDF. The top piece is 3/4" thick, but its plywood too and considerably lighter than MDF.
I saved alot of weight with this setup compared to my last setup.

I don't remember. I did that last year.

Yeah. That too. I'm sure I could use that spray etch stuff to put like a pony on it. That way when the red LED's were on the frosted part would appear redder than the clear area.
why do I keep looking at these ?
