Where can I buy those. I want half a dozen.
Well another worthless, POS murdering coward that says he has no remorse for his actions, should be taking his last breath of air that could have been used by decent humans about right now. Good riddance.

The I hate priuses coalition is just a voluntary club...only requirement is that you share the hatred we do!
in fact, apparently the other day in traffic, i started ranting about those things, and my friend started laughing...she's like "it's amazing how passionate you are about that"

I will buy Jack Stands!!!
Mine's more of a rig though
Congrats bud!
So today, Took off my spare thinking it was causing my squeeking. 3 hours later, with a few cuts, bruises and a bunch of headaches, the spare was only SOMe of the squeeking.
First my exhaust pipe was in the way of where the tire iron goes to lift the carrier thing, used the jack to hold that up. Then the eye bolt wouldnt turn far enough - eventually just kept yanking on it with the tire iron in the hole. That was an hour there. Got the tire off. And then tried to fully take the hanger off. Nope that doesnt work, the bolts are rusted together and in a spot I can't get ANY leverage on, so I put the hanger back in, ghetto rigged it with some bike brake cable protector rubber things, tied to the bumper to make it stable, and we're good.
3 hours to do all this. WTF?! I'm just glad I didn't find this out the hard way on the side of the road!
Pix attached, I'll explain them in a sec
Pic 1) Disregard, didn't mean it to be there lol
2) Tire iron in the place it's supposed to go to lift the support up a little to get the eye bolt out. As you can see, I can't lift due to my pipe there...
3) After about an hour with the tire iron thru the hole in the eye bolt, I got it to go thru the hole needed to get the support off. That was REALLY trying. And not even right, the bolt is supposed to be rotated 180 degrees from where it is
4) Supposed to be before 3, but there's a nut up there somewhere I was trying to get off that would have saved me from the tire iron in the eye bolt dilemma
5) How I lifted the spare support, because the tire iron couldn't go where it needed
6) My 18 year old spare rim/tire, complete with all the dirt.
7) Got the wheel cleaned, and found it rusted... Tire still looks basically the same even after pressure washing
8) The nut for the second drop bolt thing. This one didn't have an eye bolt, and I couldn't get the nut off, so I had to hang the spare holder back up I didn't want to
9) How I stabilized the holder without the tire. I knew my old brake cables would come in handy sometime! No, you can't see how ghetto rigged it is until you're underneath it

It's my 18 year old pride and joy
1991.
Eduardo, you're probably rigght as to why the spares are in the bed. It's WAY too much work for a normal man. If I didn't have aftermarket pipes I'd have had less trouble, but still, it sucks

Even my late grandfather's 94 Dakota isn't such a PITA to lower it. Just flip down the license plate, insert the long retractable jack rod into the bumper's hole all the way into the spare tire's mechanism, and turn, and turn and keep turning (pretty slow thing) until it's on the ground.
