We have always enjoyed science fiction shows and movies so it was a good opportunity to see and re-visit a few locations right after the Vanishing Point part of our trip last month..We plan to be back in our Mustang next year but this was definitely a Challenger related trip this year.
Each photo has a small description under it. Most of this was in Nevada and NM.

Almost forgot Starman. Meteor Crater outside Winslow, AZ where the finale was filmed. The 2nd photo is the museum area where all the military (and Charles Martin Smith) were watching the activity. The last photo (on our guided tour) shows the area where they climbed down the crater (Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen).

If you can't have fun when retired and on vacation, there isn't much point in anything. Thank heavens I'm not at that point in life, as Bill Engvall would say, "Here's Your Sign".
