I love road trips, when I retired from the state my biggest concern was being able to afford more road trips. My wife once joked with a friend that I bought a $10 postcard at a antique shop dated 50 years ago of a place out west that she'ld never heard of and then spent $4,000 on a road trip to go see it.
She exaggerated some.
Whether two days or three weeks, I love me a road trip.
I also like "day drives" (or rides) too, but two days or more out is a "road trip" and if more than a day or two's drive from home, I prefer the car or PU over the bike or trike.

Just got back home tonight and we did have a great time, drove a little more than 2000 miles. We went to Niagara Falls and then back down to Virginia and into Washington DC
I am already planning another trip in June. The car ran great no problems, I think I got the problem with the battery going dead fixed.
