True, I was thinking a natural aspirated (no blower) car. Here is a friends' GT500 track car which builds fast speeds on the straights.
Awesome looking car.
How have those CF wheels been for him?
I've heard horror stories with those cars on the track, the heat from the brakes overheating the CF until it cracks or explodes.

He sales those wheels as a retailer. I'd say he likes them as he could stock any wheel brand.
I meet the owner when the SVTOA (the Ford SVT car owners) was big. I had a 1995 Cobra R and he a 2000 Cobra R. We had a convention at Autobahn (a race track south of Chicago). It was +/-23 years ago. Both of us have had a racing license for 25-30 years. His business also sales brake parts. He knows how to save the brakes before they get too hot and the rotor cracks. A guy must race to see the checkered flag. You can't wreck or break and finish the weekend.
Yes, a rookie may exceed the limits of the brakes. They may also exceed the heat limit of the blower. It can certainly happen.
