Wow that seem pretty steep for a non-premium lower option car... About the same as my highly optioned premium, before the Roush upgrades.
And look at the destination charge, it is as much as the transmission... that amount is double what it was on my 2014.
Shows how much the dollar has fallen in recent years.
Very scary, sticker shock indeed.

I missed this post and it is the exact reason why we could not afford a new GT convertible without going into too much debt. Adding the premium package and the soft top took the price into the mid $50's and approaching $60K with certain options. These options are 'must haves' for my wife and I with Mustang purchases, There should be no 'settling' with something that costs so much money. I didn't settle with my R/T (bought new in 2020) so I certainly would not with a Mustang either.
Finding a 2014 GT 'vert with 8,800 miles in 2022, that ticked all our boxes, was over $20k less than a new example. Yeah, it needed new tires but really no serious issues and NO NAV screen. (I really dislike them).
