Big time. Lots of melting today and tomorrow though.

You'll never see the black car in photos like those. LOL
Bella likes the snow, but doesn't go too nuts about it. Some dogs go crazy. My last 2 Schnauzers loved it.
Wow! You guys really got it? Ours is mostly gone. Not much in the valleys, just in the mountains where it belongs.
We got hammered. LOL
It was a full blown blizzard with whiteout conditions and coming down 2 - 4 inches an hour sometimes. Pretty brutal. Thank God it was light and fluffy.
. . . and today it is raining so it is turning to slush; then tomorrow we will get a good dose of sleet and freezing rain, then on the weekend it will be down around zero again and whatever is left will turn to concrete . . .
every year around this time, I always question my sanity for living here; but then I think about summer in Florida and decide to stay, until next February rolls around and then the cycle repeats . . .

YUP!!
It's pretty nasty out there right now. I leave work at 2:30 and the roads were good, but I was being cautious.
Not many cars on the road, so either a lot of people took the day off or were able/told to leave work early. I went to the bank after work and they were closed. Closed for the safety of our customers and employees, the sign said.

We got our first round beginning Thursday night.. First it rained until after midnight beginning on Friday morning, as salt crews had to wait until temps dropped before pretreating the roads. Then it turned all to snow from after midnight, until 10AM yesterday.. Round two began last evening and didn't finally quit until early this morning..

Wow, I can bet going down that hill in this weather has got to be pretty scary at times.
We got ice and snow yesterday into the night. Wow, it was nasty.
I cleaned off the driveway best I could, but it still didn't melt from the sun's rays. Even Ice Melt didn't have an impact on it. Must of been an inch thick on the ground. I ordered another 20lb. bag of Ice Melt from Amazon, just to have it in the garage.

Which is exactly the reason our daily driver stays parked in front of the garage.. It's just way too dangerous when it comes to going up/down hills while ice is still on them Tony..
Doesn't matter if you have all wheel drive, 4-wheel drive or whatever, there's no way in hell your going to prevent from sliding up/down a hill with a layer of ice upon it..LOL

That could be very scary!! No thank you. LOL
Beautiful, beautiful weather out today.
47 degrees and the snow is melting away. The next 3 days are going to be more melting weather. Should be awesome.
