It was 23 degrees when I took her out yesterday morning. But, there was no snow, no salt or chemicals to be seen anywhere and it was full sunshine, so I took advantage of the weather.
You can't beat that for the end of January in the Northeast!! I enjoyed it immensely though. Heated seat, heated steering wheel and climate control kept me warm inside the car. LOL
Wow so you bought a car prepped for cold weather. Does it have all wheel drive? Guess you need to be driving it then.
Just ribbing, and wanting to get mine out too, but just too cold.
So just wondering how those summer tires did out there in the 23° weather for you? I assume it has the Continental Extreme Contact's on it. The Cooper RS3's on the old Roush's like mine, do not do so well. Get pretty squirrelly. Enjoy, drive it all you can!

Believe it or not,.....the Continentals did pretty good. I didn't overdo it with the speed though. I always drive with traction control off, but had no issues at all.

Plus, they already salted the streets around here.

The entire west is expecting a major storm over night. Looks like California, Oregon,and Washington will get a blast of big time snow in their mountains. Our local mountains here in Idaho will get a bunch too, but the banana belt here in Boise will just get rain and the high winds. So it is safe to say that I will not be getting mine out either. I am looking forward to March, or maybe April.

They are a great tire.
I think my next tire is going to be the Michelin PS4S tires. The ones that come stock on the new GT500 amongst other awesome cars. My buddy with the GT500 says they are amazing.
Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Same with the Continental Extreme Contact Sports.
Took this beast for a 10 minute cruise this morning.
47 degrees at the time and sunny out. I had to. LOL (Almost 60 degrees out here now. The truck is getting a nice wash today. )
