Type of headlights on the 2016 GT Premium? Xenon?
From what I am able to gather as it is not delineated in any documentation that came with my GT other than it is a "D3S" bulb. I take it it is a Xenon HID headlight system.

I did google it and that is where I was able to come up with what info I had but I was just looking for verification of the info from this forum!

Yes, 15-16 come standard with xenon HIDs, as did the 13-14 cars. They were optional on 10-12, and 08-09 (these were not projector housing though)...
