GPS Time Synchronization Mode

Has anyone noticed that when you set the clock to GPS Time Synchronization Mode, it does not account for daylight savings time?

The minutes set alright, but the hour is off by one (standard time).

Am I missing something here...? There is no setting for DST in the program mode, I would assume that it is automatic.

Driving from Arizona to Nevada I definitely noticed something was amiss.

I noticed it too, but there was also a warning when I set the time. I think most built-in GPS systems are like this as they work off GMT time. I've had a couple cars with Nav and have always had to change the time for DST.

My last two Explorers with Nav and Sync in it did the same thing. That is why I just resorted to doing the manual change!
