Looking to upgrade my 2005 headlights and came across the

Not a big fan of Halos but if thats what you want... Anyways, I pulled mine apart and color matched the buckets to bring out the louvers. This is a key retro design feature that often gets overlooked because of the black on black color scheme. Sorry for the crappy pic but I think you can picture it.

Yes it is. Nice job and idea painting them to match. Thanks for sharing it.

I really do like the look of the halos.

I have wanted to do these myself as I have the halo fogs to match. But have not due to aftermarket front fascia and the headlight splitters being a part of it.

But I thought I seen some much cheaper than those?

Half the price. I have Eagle Eyes brand in my Focus and fitment was perfect.

I found a set with clear lenses and front glass on eBay for around that price. Been shipped, will post once I get them installed.

My only problem with Anzo products is that they tend to leak water. Be sure that the edges of the lens are properly sealed. I have installed a set of Anzo smoked CCFL headlights on a Dodge Ram, and 2 years later the plastic hazed up and they fill with water when it rains.

Therefore, I'm not a fan.

YMMV, I guess.
