Tracking New Mustang GT Order

Does anyone know how long before your factory order shows up on the Ford Tracking System?

It has been about two weeks since I ordered the car and the website still indicates no match for my information (which I have verified with the dealer)...

Do I sound anxious ?

Mine was two years ago, but you can see in my signature the dates that things happened.

I would ask your dealer for the VIN and then utilize that in your COTUS search.

Placed my order on 3/12 and car was delivered on 4/14. GT Premium. If not Ford Service has people who will check on your order as well.

Good luck!

I am new to the forum and feel your "pain". I ordered my GT on 3/16. The car was finished in production on 4/17. COTUS then showed "Awaiting Shipment" and then "In transit" on 4/20 with EDD of 5/2. Then on 4/22 all that went away and COTUS again shows awaiting shipment, (and has since 4/20) and the EDD has vanished as well.

Here's the real "pain": I live no more than a few minutes away from the Flat Rock Assembly plant. I pass by the plant every day on my way to work. I often drive around back to the production shipping/staging lot and look through the fence to see if "my car" is still there (it's got to be one of the only two orange 50th anniversary cars I can see in the acres of cars there.

It's teaching me patience. It will no doubt take longer to load my car on the convoy truck than the entire delivery travel time of about ten minutes to my dealer.

Sometimes I wish I lived hundreds of miles away from the plant...
:-)

Good news.

Ordered the car on 4/15/15 and expected delivery to dealer is 5/15/15 (according to dealer, car is local).

Just 4 weeks from start to finish. Hope this means that others will be quick too...

BTW, I live in New Jersey.

<<< UPDATE >>>>

The car sat at the Twin Oaks, PA distribution center for 9 days, but finally got delivered today (5/22/15).

So, ordered 4/15/15 and delivered 5/22/15. About five weeks start to finish, not bad...
