Tire Recommendations?

Tire Recommendations?
Anyone already change their tires? If so, do you like them more/less than the OEMs? I've got the 19x8.5" rims, 255/40/19 P Zeros. They seem a little "squirrelly" in the turns.

I don't need any yet, but I priced some out at work and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s are ~$250 for fronts and ~$300 for rears. With a mileage warranty, so you take the hit on the original purchase but you get the prorating for the next set. I used them on my 07 GT and they were great.

What kind of tires come from the factory on the GT Premium with Performance Pack? I know they are 275r/40 R19. But what is the manufacturer? By the time my car gets there its going to be winter and I am going to have to get all weather tires.
Is it important to get all 4 tires swapped out for all-weather? Or would replacing just the rears be sufficient?

1) they are pirelli summer only tires.
2) under no circumstances (outside of certain racing situations) should you ever mix tire makes on your vehicle. This is even more true when talking about summer and winter compounds. You'd be better off just keeping the summer tires, at least it would be somewhat predictable.
If you want winter tires get all four.

255/40R19 on 19x9" front and 275/40R19 on 19x9.5" rears and they are summer tires. The rim offset is such that the 19x9.5 will not work on the front without driving the rim into the strut when its tightened up.
One of my neighbors found out the hard way when the techs at his stealership grabbed a rear PP wheel and put it on the front of his PP equipped GT and ended up replacing a wheel and strut on his car.

I had the same concern about my performance pack car when it got pushed back. I actually ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3. They were 1300 for the set. I actually drove off the lot with them installed and they have been very good so far. We've gotten a lot of rain the past week and they held up very nicely. In the coming weeks we will be getting sub 45 degrees and I'll be able to see how they hold up with cold rain on the road. The Pirelli tires I simply stored until summer, however they should not be used anywhere below 45 degrees.

I just put on new wheels and tires. ForgeStar CF5V 19x10 Front and 19x11 Rear in Matte Gunmetal. The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport 275/40/19 Front and 305/35/19 Rear. They fit perfectly. The car is a 2015 Mustang GT Premium (non-PP). The tires are much better than the Pirelli's. The difference is huge.

I have replaced my worn out stock Pirelli 255/40/19 by some Falken Azenis, and they are just awesome tires. They are predictable and they last longer than the PZeros. The only downside is the noise, but you get use to it after a few miles if noises are not your top priority. I did a little drift session and I was able to predict exactly the grip during oversteer. I will definately buy a new set next spring and I recommend them to any spirited driver.
