Recaro seats?
Thinking about upgrading to the Recaros, swapping them for the GT Premium leather seats. While the Premium seats have more features, they have WAY too much lumbar support, even with the setting at the least amount. Anybody here have the Recaros and NOT liking them?

Recaro have the ergonomics and support down. I love mine!
I was expecting they may not be too comfortable on long drives given their race inspired design, but on a 8h long drive from Michigan to Washington D.C. even my wife loved them.

Recaros are great but I wish they offered the cloth on the Premium. I have a buddy that's willing to trade me straight up, but mine are in way better condition and I just feel guilty getting rid of an original option on the car, even though most of the Track Package is already gone lol

I wish the Recaros were available when I bought my 2011. Ford Racing offered them aftermarket for a short time, but I missed the window. They changed the airbag connectors part way through the 2012 model year and discontinued the Recaros for my car. I have looked, but can't find a set anywhere.

I test drove a Recaro Leather equipped stang. Didn't like, too much side grip for long trips, won't be able to shift around in the seat much, but that's what their designed for. To each their own. Also no Heat or Cool option. I prefer to be more comfortable. Take the Recaro for a test drive on a warm day and see if you like the sweat you generate from being so tucked into the seat. Again their designed for track racing.

I appreciate all of the replies so far.
Here in Maine we don't drive our Mustangs in the cold weather much, so the heated seat option doesn't matter, and the hot weather isn't really that hot. So, the heated/cooled seats is really silly. This is the only car I've ever had with either feature. Also, none of the cars on any of the dealers' lots have the PP, so trying to find one to test drive is going to be a problem.

Recaros are fine for short drives or thin folks (I am 5 11" and 200lbs), but I really like the heated/cool feature and support the premium seats provide.
