How to get exhaust pop

So I have a 2015 gt PP with roush axle back and x pipe and it is loud as hell but I don't get any pops on deceleration or downshift and I was wondering if there is a way to do that through fuel timing adjustments through the tune? Let me know your input

Ive got a v6 straight pipe (2012 year) and i can get some decent pops and burbles around 3k on decel. Is your stick or auto? It would be easier with stick as you can just hit the clutch on decel at around 3-3.5k and you could hit the sweet spot. If on auto just kinda play with the gears to find the right zone thats what i did. Hope this helps.

How to get exhaust pop

Weird you have aftermarket mufflers and it does not do it. I have Corsa Extremes and even when I use the standard key ( I have the track key as well) it pops like crazy..

Tune and high flow cats should do the trick...

I've got a V6 with the Borla ATAKs and on downshifts it pops and burbles. I've got a manual though. Maybe that's the issue. Never drove an auto stang so I can't speak for it.

That is strange. I have the Roush axle backs and I get plenty of crackle and popping on deceleration. Especially if I down shift. Got this with the factory tune before I made any changes. I now get even more since I added the GT Trackey tune and the Boss side exhaust.

+1. 2014 GT, Roush ab and boss side pipes with Steeda tune. Sounds insane on decel. Like thunder almost. Lots of popping and crack!ing going on.

Same here. I got the factory Roush tune and it makes some disgustingly awesome noises.

Pull the resonators and have a muffler shop weld in some straight pipes. Add some nice rear sections per your choice of tune (Flowmaster, Magnaflow, etc. etc.) to finish it off. Cheaper than a full catback and sounds glorious.

Love my GT500 A/B's....no other exhaust mods. Nice snap, crackle and pop that never fails to turn heads.

I had no pop with my stock GT mufflers. I installed GT 500 and have a tiny pop once in a while. Then I installed the Track Key. WOW and I mean WOW. I have Crackle pop Crackle pop. It is so Mean. Also It is louder with the Track key for some reason.

I love the Track key.
