2015 Mustang Price Range.

I currently own a 2010 Mustang GT and was looking at 2011-2012 5.0’s online and saw a few 2015 Mustang GT’s for around $20k-25k in the 70,000 mile range. But I never see any 2016+ models. Does the 2015 have more problems since it’s the first year for that body style? Or am I just tripping and only seeing 2015’s? What’s the average price range for the 2015-2017 body style in the 70k-80k mile range?

personally I would avoid the 2015 because I always avoid first-model-year cars . . . you can scan the forum here to get a feel for the real world problems, I think they have actually been pretty good

and my 2010 has been excellent, even though it was a "transition year" with some modifications to the body

I see lots of later year S550's in the ads around here (Massachusetts) but they are generally in the high 20's or low-mid 30's, so if you are setting the max price at $25K that is probably why you are not seeing them

you could try some of the on-line used car value tools to get an idea of price . . . used car prices seem to be crazy high right now due to the pandemic so you might want to wait a while for a better deal

I’m going to keep my 2010 for maybe another year or two and enjoy it. But I have my eye on either a 2011-2012 or 2013-2014 GT. I like the S550 don’t get me wrong, but I love the way the 2010-2014 looks. I love the front end of the 10-12 but am not a fan of the taillights. The 14 premium gauge cluster is just beautiful and so are the taillights but the front end looks like a V6 without the fog lights on lol. I also have the base model 2010 so it had that crappy plastic steering wheel, no white gauge cluster and no sync (I swapped the steering wheel to a premium) so I really want a premium model.

I am the same -- I prefer the front end of the 2010-2012 and the rear of the 2005-2009 or 2013-2014. But since you can't buy those together, I'd go with the 2012. I have been casually looking for a 2012 for years, but I am picky about color and options, and haven't pulled the trigger yet. This year the prices have gone crazy, that bubble will burst eventually, so yeah I'd wait and see.

I most likely will pull the trigger on a premium 11-12 and get a 13-14 taillight conversion. The front end of 10-12 is so beautiful. Maybe a California Special and throw some fog lights on it if I can find one decently priced.

We bought a 2015 premium manual convertible in late May for $22k. I've put about 9k miles on her so far, and it's been a great ride thus far.
